Worker's Compensation Laws

Worker's compensation is an insurance that covers employees working for an employer in most situations. Employers with three or more employees, farmers with six or more employees on 20 or more days in a calendar year, and even employers with fewer than three workers if the employer paid qualifying wages fall under worker's compensation law. Additionally, there is an uninsured employers fund available for situations in which an employee is injured, but the employer had not been insured.
